Robin's Helpful Household Hints
|
Les and I married on October 16, 1999. We've been through the mill and back, and we're stronger now because of it. We had our first child on April 30, 2005. A sweet little girl named, Anna Grace. She's turned out to be a Daddy's girl. On February 9, 2007 we had our second child, a precious son. He's my angel named, Joshua Davis. I stay at home and raise our children and take care of our household. I firmly believe this is what a woman should do. We make sacrifices every day, so that I can stay at home with our children. Les works hard every day, sick or not, to provide for us. We believe this is the way God planned a family should be. We aren't the best, and we fight sometimes. Trust me, some days I feel like I'm pulling my hair out trying to keep things together. I feel it would be easier to put the kids in day care and me go to work. But, then someone else would be raising our children. Honestly, we're not going to trust someone else to raise our children. They only know what we teach them. If I don't know what they're being taught, then how am I making sure they know everything. We are their teachers in life. They are our responsibility in life, not someone else's. We made that commitment when we decided to have them. We made the commitment to God, when he blessed us with them, to raise his angels in a loving home. This is our family. Our lives revolve around making sure our children know everything and have everything they need to experience life to the fullest. Not everything they want, but everything they need to succeed in life. We plan on living the way God planned for as long as he will allow. We don't believe in debt, either. We have worked our way out of debt and we will live this way until we die. The only debt we have is our home, and I can almost guarantee that it'll be paid off before the 30 years is up. Once you feel what it's like to not owe someone anything, you don't want to feel that burden again. This is our life. It's nothing fancy, but it's working great for us.
